    OAKWOOD – Today, deputies arrested Charles W. Brown, age 32, from Oakwood, in regards to the shooting incident that occurred in Oakwood in the early morning hours of Sept. 6, 2021.

    Caring and Sharing Food Pantry building new location to best serve county

    The Board of Directors of the Caring & Sharing Food Pantry in Paulding is thrilled to announce its decision to construct a new permanent building that will house its operations, including storage, client shopping area, office and new client enrichment space. A new building, designed specifically for its needs, will help them serve the more than 12% of our county population that is dealing with food insecurity as identified by Feeding America.

  • DEFIANCE – A trio of Green Meadows Conference squads met at Auglaize Golf Course outside of Defiance on Thursday night with Wayne Trace recording victories over both Paulding and Hicksville.

  • CECIL – Clint Andrew Vance, age 30, born in Paulding, son of Dennis and Sandra (Edwards) Vance, passed away on Monday, September 20 at his residence.
  • AULDING COUNTY – Now that school is out of session and summer break is in full swing the Paulding County Health Department has a few safety tips to share to ensure that everyone has a safe and fun summer.

    My college days are full of memories and overwhelmingly, most of them are good ones. As is the case with most people, I experienced a lot of things for the first time, including growing houseplants. I’m not sure what made me want to undertake this endeavor, but I went to Frank’s Nursery & Crafts on Coliseum Boulevard and purchased some.

    PAULDING – The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office reported that around 11 a.m. on September deputies were dispatched to 17089 Road 133, Cecil, for a report of a dead body.
