Elisha M. Phlipot, age 42, of Defiance, passed away on Wednesday evening, August 10, 2022 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

  • PP: Why are you running for this seat?

Penner: Well, I’ve been in public service for a long time. I’ve been a township official. I’ve done charity work, including as head of the Defiance Area Foundation. I’ve been involved in politics along the line. I was chairman of the party at one time in Defiance County.

We’re taking on Big Pharma to lower seniors’ drug prices, we’re taking on Big Oil to lower energy prices, create Ohio jobs, and grow new industries, and we’re taking on Wall Street to rein in stock buybacks that reward CEOs at the expense of workers
