    PAULDING – A tall structure stands in Live Oak Cemetery. Hundreds of people drive past it every day, but few notice it. Once a year, it is surrounded with flags and flowers are placed at its feet during a solemn ceremony.

    Everyone who deals with cancer handles it in different ways. Some choose to fight the battle privately with support from family and close friends. Other warriors make their battles more public and rely on the support of the community to help them through their battle. Scott Cramer, a 2018 Relay for Life Honorary Survivor, prefers to use his battle with cancer to give hope.
