PAULDING COUNTY – The Paulding County Carnegie Library system now
offers two types of COVID tests. The tests are free to the public and
will be delivered to your vehicle during open library hours.
The
BinaxNOW proctored kit is used to go online and receive verified tests
results on your mobile device via their NAVICA mobile app. This test is
live and taken with a proctor who monitors the steps in order to provide
valid results. The NAVICA app allows people to store, access and
display their BinaxNOW test results.
Your PCCL libraries now offer
a non-proctored rapid antigen self-test COVID kit with two tests
included. The test is for self-use when people test themselves twice
within three days, with 36 hours between the two tests. This test is for
personal use and does not provide evidence for some return-to-work
situations.
To receive a COVID test at the library, please call
the location you want to visit and let them know the type of test you
want, how many tests you would like, and what time you would like to
pick up the test. Call the library when you arrive, and a staff member
will deliver the test to your vehicle. Please do not enter a Paulding
County Carnegie Library building if you are exhibiting COVID symptoms or
to pick up tests.
If you have any questions, please contact your PCCL library or Ellen Williams, Library Director, at the Paulding Location.
