PAULDING – Dollar Tree has leased space in the Paulding Place shopping plaza, the Paulding County Vision Board said last week.

A sign was installed on one of the vacant storefronts earlier last week.

No opening date has been announced, but Vision Board members said there is much work to be done first to the interior space, so it could be a few months.

County economic developer Jerry Zielke said contractors are completely renovating the store, including new floors, ceilings, lighting and heating/air conditioning.

Work could take a few months, but opening should be sometime this fall.

The company has obtained a vendor’s license from the county.

No additional details have been made available.

The shopping plaza is located on U.S. 127 at the north edge of Paulding. Other businesses in the center are Chief Supermarket, China Wok restaurant and Advance Auto Parts.
