HAVILAND - Wayne Trace’s baseball team wrapped up the Green Meadows Conference portion of its schedule on Saturday as Tinora came to Raider Field and went home with a 5-3 win over the Raiders.

The Rams, who trailed 2-0 after one inning, scored five runs between the fourth and sixth innings to rally for the victory.

Tinora got one run back in the top of the fourth to make it 2-1 before tying the game at 2-2 with a single run in the fifth. The green and white then broke the game open with a three-run sixth that put Tinora on top 5-2.

Wayne Trace did get one run back in the bottom of the seventh but would get no closer.

Spencer Giesige picked up the win for Tinora, scattering five hits, three runs (two earned) and four walks while striking out seven in the complete game effort.

Grant Baumle took the loss for Wayne Trace, giving up two hits, three runs (one earned) and a pair of walks while fanning three in three innings of work.

Korbin Slade tossed the other four innings for Wayne Trace, surrendering three hits, two runs and four walks to go along with four strikeouts.

Trevor Speice had a pair of singles for Wayne Trace with Reid Miller, Korbin Slade and Brendon Bidlack all adding singles.

Trey Hurtt and Jonah Jimenez each had two singles for Tinora while Marcus Grube also picked up a single.
