DEFIANCE – In a regular season tournament finale, the Paulding Panthers took part in the Tinora/Edgerton Boys Golf Invitational at Eagle Rock Golf Course in Defiance Saturday.

The maroon and white placed eighth as a team in the tournament with a 399.

Kings Mills Kings placed both first and second after shooting rounds of 303 and 356 while Tinora placed third at 367 and Defiance took fourth with a 369. Edgerton finished fifth at 378 followed by Toledo Emmanuel Christian (383) and Fairview (385). Ottoville recorded a 446 to place ninth overall.

Isaac Reeb led the way for the Panthers, placing 14th individually and topping the maroon and white with an 88.

Nico Stahl added a 99 for Paulding while Aiden Miller carded a 105. Johnathan Lipps also totaled a 107 for the maroon and white with Max Stork shooting a 116.

The Panthers return to action on Thursday as Paulding takes part in the Division II boys sectional at Moose Landing Country Club.

Other teams in the sectional include Bluffton, Coldwater, Elmwood, Kenton, Liberty Benton, Lima Bath, Napoleon, Ottawa Glandorf, Spencerville, St. Marys, Tinora, Van Buren and Van Wert.
