OTTAWA – The Division II boys sectional golf tournament took place at Moose Landing Golf Club outside of Ottawa with Napoleon, Van Buren and Liberty Benton claiming the district team berths.

 

Napoleon and Van Buren both totaled rounds of 338 with the Wildcats winning the championship on the fifth person tiebreaker.

 

Liberty Benton finished third at 348 while Coldwater placed fourth at 357 and Van Wert took fifth with a 363.

 

St. Marys placed sixth with a 364 followed by Ottawa Glandorf (365), Tinora (368), Elmwood (384), Lima Bath (384), Bluffton (397), Spencerville (407), Paulding (411) and Kenton (424).

 

Nico Stahl paced the Panthers with a 92 while Isaac Reeb chipped in a 102 for the maroon and white. Max Stork carded a 108 for Paulding followed by Johnathan Lipps at 109 and Aiden Miller totaled a 121.

 

Individual qualifiers for the district included Ottawa Glandorf’s Ty Verhoff (84), Van Wert’s Keaton Foster (85), Lima Bath’s Braden Binkley (85) and Coldwater’s Nathan Overman (85).
