Paulding seniors Ethan Matty and Hunter Kesler have been selected first team in the Northwest Conference in a vote of league football coaches.

Matty was selected on the offensive line and Kesler at wide receiver. Both were also chosen honorable mention on defense, Matty on the line and Kesler in the secondary.

Three defensive players were named second team for the Panthers, Jacob Eblin on the line, Cole Mabis at linebacker and Drew Lumpkins in the backfield.

Matty and Kesler were joined as honorable mention selections by teammates Jacob Eblin on the offensive line, Jacob Deisler at running back and Riley Coil at linebacker.

"Congratulations to our guys who were able to achieve All-NWC honors,” said Paulding coach Tyler Arend. “It is a testament to their hard work and dedication to our program. To be recognized by opposing coaches in our league is a great honor."

Crestview senior quarterback Drew Kline was named the NWC Offensive Player of the Year while Spencerville junior linebacker Eli Yahl was the Defensive Player of the Year. Chris Sommers, of league tri-champ Spencerville, was Coach of the Year.

Crestview’s Wade Sheets was first team wide receiver, specialist and defensive back while Yahl was first team at linebacker and on the offensive line and Crestview’s Robbie Gonzalez on the O-line and D-line.
