ANTWERP – After being postponed on Friday, the Antwerp Track Invitational was held Monday evening at Antwerp High School where the Wayne Trace Lady Raiders continued an extraordinarily successful season with a team championship in the event.

The Lady Raiders racked up 168-1/2 points to win the meet with host Antwerp taking second at 109-1/2 points on the night. Fairview finished third with 107-1/2 followed by Churubusco (84-1/2), Delphos Jefferson (79), Paulding (41) and Edon (19).

Wayne Trace’s Rachel Stoller captured the 200 dash in 26.66 seconds and took the 400 dash in 1:00.40. The Lady Raiders’ Sydnee Sinn won both the 800 run (2:24.95) and 1600 run (5:33.47) and the red, white and blue’s Abby Moore took the top spot in the 3200 run (13:10.90).

The quartet of Stoller, Kiara Bahena, Bethany Miller and Harper Myers took first in the 800 relay (1:53.90) and the foursome of Stoller, Bahena, Gracie Shepherd and Sinn won the 1600 relay in 4:08.31. Bahena, Miller, Moore and Sinn also combined for a title in the 3200 relay (10:18.36).

Shepherd recorded a first-place finish for Wayne Trace as well, leaping 5-6 to win the high jump.

Paulding’s Claire Schweller captured the pole vault with a jump of 12-0 with Antwerp’s Leslie Pollock taking first in both the shot put (35-1-1/2) and discus (113-1).

Lyv Lindeman was a triple winner for Delphos Jefferson, capturing the 100 dash (12.52), 100 hurdles (15.06) and 300 hurdles (49.43).

Churubusco won the boys portion with 196 points while Wayne Trace finished second at 112 and Fairview placed third at 103. Rounding out the list of teams were Antwerp (96), Edon (72), Delphos Jefferson (36) and Paulding (27).

Wayne Trace’s Maddox Treece was a multiple winner, taking first in the 100 dash (10.81) and 200 dash (23.06).
