HAVILAND - Wayne Trace closed the first half on a 31-2 run and rolled past Lima Shawnee 76-19 in non-league girls basketball action Monday evening.

The Raiders led 15-3 midway through the first quarter before completely dominating the remainder of the first half.

Wayne Trace scored 13 straight points in taking a 28-5 advantage after one quarter before blanking the Indians in the second stanza, outscoring Lima Shawnee 18-0 for a 46-5 halftime advantage.

The red-white-and-blue then posted a 62-12 lead at the end of three periods.

Senior Sadie Sinn paced the Raiders with 21 points while adding six rebounds and four assists. Sophomore Katrina Stoller added 16 markers, four boards and two steals with junior Claire Sinn chipping in 14 points while dishing out eight assists and grabbing six rebounds.

Claire Sinn also recorded three steals for Wayne Trace, which is now 10-1 on the season.

Kaylee Shepherd also had six points, five assists and three steals for Wayne Trace and Rachel Stoller posted six points, seven rebounds and two steals.

Miriam Sinn finished with five points, four rebounds, two assists and three steals and Sara Edwards added four markers and two boards.

Wayne Trace also got two points and four rebounds from Katie Stoller along with two points, three rebounds and two assists by Tiffany Sinn.

The Lady Raider junior varsity contest also controlled the first half, taking a 15-1 advantage at the break in recording a 22-15 win over Lima Shawnee.

Wayne Trace led 11-1 at the end of one period before pushing the margin to 15-1 at the intermission. The red-white-and-blue led 22-5 entering the final quarter.

Katie Stoller topped the Lady Raiders with 10 points, 10 steals, seven rebounds and two assists with Katrina Stoller adding five markers and two boards.

Rylee Troth recorded three points, four rebounds and two steals for Wayne Trace. Kenadie Daeger also finished with two points, four rebounds, four steals while Tiffany Sinn posted two points and two rebounds.
