EDGERTON – The host Lady Bulldogs of Edgerton recorded a straight set win over visiting Paulding Tuesday night in Green Meadows Conference volleyball action.

The Williams County squad recorded a four point, 25-21, win in the opening set of the night before the Lady Bulldogs took the second set 25-14. Edgerton then closed out the match by defeating the Panthers 25-15.

Carlea Kuckuck recorded six slams, three blocks and a pair of aces to lead the Lady Panthers while Marley Parrett finished with seven kills.

Maci Kauser picked up 15 digs and a pair of aces for Paulding and Katie Beckman dished out 11 assists to go along with seven digs and two kills.

Elli Barton also contributed three kills, two aces and seven digs.

The Panther varsity falls to 3-8 in all matches and 0-3 in the Green Meadows Conference.

Paulding’s junior varsity suffered its first loss of the season to the Bulldogs.

The Lady Panthers recorded a 25-15 victory in the first set before Edgerton rallied, winning game two 25-17 before capturing the decisive third set 25-12.

Paulding is now 10-1 overall on the season and 2-1 in the league.
