LIMA – Former Paulding County resident, James Ross, age 6,1 passed away Thursday, Sept. 24, at the Ohio State Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 22, 1959 in Van Wert, son of Phyllis (Dotson) and the late James Ross. He was a 1978 graduate of Wayne Trace High School.

He is survived by his mother Phyllis Ross, Grover Hill; son Brandon Ross, Payne; granddaughters Zarla and Zayla Ross; brothers Terry (Brenda) Ross of Sherwood and Michael (Rich) Ross of New Market, Tenn.; niece Sarah (Aaron) Pelland; nephews Liam and Chase Ross.

James is also preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy and Kate Dotson, Roy and Savannah Ross; and nephews Terry and Tony Ross.

Graveside services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 2 at Middle Creek Cemetery, with Rev. Paul Miller officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations made to Grover Hill EMS or Grover Hill Fire Department.
