RAWSON – Charles McDougall, 86, of Rawson, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, Blanchard Valley Hospital.

He was born March 19, 1933 in Latty to the late Theodore F. and Genevieve Opal (Kuhn) McDougall. On Sept. 19, 1953, he married Ghnelda (McKibben) McDougall and she survives.

He is also survived by a son, Ronald C. (Karen) McDougall of Rawson; four daughters, Cathy L. (Ken - deceased) Dehass of Clio, Mich., Jo-Anna K. (Stephen) Cartwright of Pittsboro, N.C., Rebecca A. (William) Norton of Fort Wayne and Roberta S. Stover of Bellefontaine; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers, Richard of Van Wert, Ralph of Leipsic and Donald of Delphos; and a sister, Anna of Paulding.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Floyd.

Charles was a lifelong farmer and retired from Air Products & Chemicals in 1996. He was a Korean War veteran and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church, American Legion, Hancock County Korean War Veterans Association and the VFW.

A funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, June 14, at Cornerstone Baptist Church with Pastor Walt Sheppard officiating. Burial will follow in Tawa Cemetery, where full military rites will be conducted by the Hancock County Veterans Memorial Squad.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 13, at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, Findlay, and for one hour (9-10 a.m.) prior to the service on Friday at the church.
