Prayers, financial

support needed

to help those in

our community

Dear Editor,

We, at Power2Change, want to express our gratitude for gifts from two different donors, as well as a grant from United Way that is making it possible for us to start this new ministry. As for any new organization there are legal, accounting and other costs that these gifts are helping cover.

In just a few weeks of operation it's been very encouraging, and somewhat daunting, to immediately find individuals and organizations that are waiting for the help we are offering.

Clearly, as we continue to grow we are going to need more individuals with a passion to serve as small group facilitators and personal mentors. Individuals serving in these positions certainly deserve and will receive significant, ongoing training. This training, by certified individuals, comes at a cost. In addition we will be covering the cost of materials for those who can’t afford but may need our attention the most.

All involved in the Power2Change ministry have been and will continue to work totally as unpaid volunteers. We are going to need an army of prayer warriors supporting us and the many individuals we will work with. In addition we are going to need continued financial support.

We have taken preliminary steps and will be working towards a 501c3 charitable status, which should be retroactive back to June 27, 2019.

In addition, the Paulding County Area Foundation has blessed us with an agreement to accept charitable donations in their name with a notation that the gift is for a special fund for Power2Change.

Tax deductible contributions can be sent to: Paulding County Area Foundation, 101 E. Perry St., Paulding OH 45879 with notation for the account of Power2Change.

We will welcome a review of our use of your financial gifts at any time.

Thank you, in advance, for your support.
