I want to introduce myself to you, the readers of the Paulding County Progress. I’m Jerry Stanford, the new editor of the paper. I wanted to take the opportunity to let you know a little bit about me.
My family and I have just moved to Scott, where we’re settling into our forever home. From the moment that we closed on the house, we were struck by how friendly the people of this community are. Even the kids of this area have been so welcoming to my daughter. Southern hospitality has nothing on the residents of NW Ohio.
Every day, a new charm reveals itself. There’s the gorgeous night sky that’s unblemished by city light pollution. Every drive is graced by a view of farmland spanning miles. Finally, there’s the great collection of friendly neighbors. Paulding County and the surrounding area are a treasure that I’m glad that I discovered.
I look forward to continuing the proud tradition of the Paulding County Progress , continuing to provide a valuable service to our readers. I also eagerly anticipate earning the trust of so many in this great and welcoming community.
