PAULDING – Gabbie Stallbaum, a senior at Paulding High School, signed a letter of intent to play softball at Heidelberg University on Friday, Dec. 11. She will be enrolled in a Pre-Health Professionals Program and plans to become a physician’s assistant. Gabbie is a straight A student and was recently named salutatorian of the Paulding High School 2021 graduating class. She is the daughter of Ted and Camie Stallbaum.

Stallbaum has been playing softball since she was four years old. In sixth grade she hit her first true home run. At eight years old, she was invited to play travel softball and continues to play on travel teams. She has been lucky enough to have some very good coaches, including her dad. She is currently playing for the NWO Heat and plays year-round.

Gabbie is both excited and humble. “I am really thankful to my family for all the help and support they have given me over the years,” Gabbie commented. She is looking forward to her last softball season at Paulding.
