PAULDING – The Paulding County commissioners have approved appropriations for the 2020 General Fund.

The General Fund appropriations for the new year total $7,079,825, a 7.92 percent increase over the 2019 figure of $6,559,792.

The County Auditors office will be getting a 16.8 percent increase this year; the Juvenile Court is also seeing an 11.9 percent increase this year in their budget.

No new funds were added this year.

Several funds, such as Bureau of Inspection, Coroner, Commissioners Buildings and Grounds, Health and Welfare, and Court of Appeals are unchanged from last year. Others, such as County Recorder, have nominal increases.

General Fund Budget projections (with 2019 figures in parenthesis) include:
