Foster Park Bridal Glen in Fort Wayne was the setting for the wedding of Elizabeth Lea McDonald and Deon DaCapitol Daugherty.

Priest Michael Dangler of Columbus, a friend of the couple, officiated at the ceremony June 8, 2019.

Parents of the bride are Lisa Lea Allshouse and stepfather Michael Dorn. Parents of the groom are Deon and Martina Daugherty of Antwerp.

The bride was given in marriage by her grandfather, David Allshouse of Bryan.

She wore an A-line style gown of ivory tulle and lace with cap sleeves, sweetheart neckline, scalloped hemline and chapel length train. Accenting her gown was a pearl necklace made by her aunt Lorna Allshouse.

The bride carried a bouquet of a lavender peony, roses, purple wisteria, ivory delphinium and lamb's ear greenery.

Maid of honor was Samantha Graham of Napoleon. Bridesmaids were Rene Tricou of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Irisa McKenzie Garfolo of Newark, Ohio and Dannie Timbrook of Bryan.

The attendants wore hunter green dresses.

Flower girls were Charley Garfolo and Adaline Graham. Ring bearers were Liam Garfolo and Dolan Garfolo.

Serving as best man was Spencer Timbrook of Bryan. Groomsmen were Kevin Dillinger of Bryan, Dave Schneider of Antwerp and Zach Terwillinger of Fort Wayne.

The men of the wedding party were attired in grey tuxedoes.

Special guests attending the wedding were the groom's Aunt Ursula Belanger and Uncle Herbert Pali from Germany.

The bridal party was transported via trolley car to the reception at the historic Baker Street Train Station in Fort Wayne.

The bride is a 2011 graduate of Bryan High School and attended Bowling Green State University. She is employed by C.E. Electronics in Bryan.

The groom is a 2007 graduate of Antwerp High School and a 2013 graduate of the Defiance College. He is employed at Multimatic in Butler, Ind.

Following a honeymoon in Riviera Maya, Yucatan, Mexico, the couple will reside in Bryan.
