Paulding County residents who use U.S. 24 will need to find alternate routes for the next couple weeks, as road construction will close access ramps from U.S. 127 starting Monday, September 26.

The U.S. 24 eastbound ramp at U.S. 127, closed Monday for approximately seven days. ODOT stated the recommended entrance ramp detour is to travel westbound on U.S. to State Route 49, before going to U.S. 24 eastbound. The exit ramp detour is to continue eastbound on U.S. 24 to State Route 424/Baltimore Street exit and then travel westbound on U.S. 24.

Alternate routes include taking State Route 111 eastbound to Defiance, and westbound to State Route 49 and heading north to U.S. 24.

Once the eastbound ramps are completed, the westbound ramps are scheduled to close beginning on October 3, for approximately seven days.
