Wednesday, Jan. 29
5:11 a.m. An anonymous tip was received about a stolen vehicle at Nancy Street. The officers arrived at the location. During the visual inspection of the vehicle the officers noticed the license plates had been altered, the sun roof was missing and a plastic tarp was secured with red duct tape. The officers investigated the interior of the vehicle and discovered drug paraphernalia and an Ohio identification card. The resident of the location arrived and was questioned about the car. A search warrant was conducted inside the residence where officers found more paraphernalia and drugs. Shannon Fry was arrested.
Thursday, Jan. 30
2:49 a.m. Tanner Welch was arrested on an active warrant from the Municipal Court at Chief’s Supermarket.
Saturday, Feb. 1
8:00 p.m. A resident of a property at West Perry Street reported a stolen gas can and reported to the officer that it was recorded on home surveillance video. The case is still under investigation.
Tuesday, Feb. 4
3:30 p.m. A criminal complaint was reported at the Paulding Fairgrounds. The concession stands had been broken into. The latch was broken off and there was a cordless screw gun missing.
