Criminal Docket

William Lashawn Freeman, 37, Fort Wayne, was in court on the State’s motion for dismissal without prejudice for good cause shown. Freeman was previously charged with two counts of trafficking in cocaine (F5). The charges for failure to appear (F4) were also dismissed per State’s request for the same reasons previously stated.

Amanda M. Ringler, 36, Payne, was in court on the State’s motion upon good behavior and is hereby terminated from community control supervision. Ringler was originally charged with one count of possession of drugs (F5).

Brandon N. Smith, 31, Paulding, was in court for sentencing. Smith was sentenced to serve a stated prison term of 24 months at the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction. Smith was previously charged with aggravated vehicular homicide (F3).

Brenda J. Fisher, 34, Paulding, was in court on the State’s motion to revoke community control sanctions due to a violation of a condition previously set forth. Fisher denied the allegations. A dispositional hearing is set for June 21. Fisher was previously charged with felonious assault (F2).

Vantreese Jones, 24, Indianapolis, was in court for arraignment. Jones pleaded not guilty to one count of improper handling of firearms in a motor vehicle (F4). Jury trial is set for September 8.
