Criminal Docket

Charles M. Clifford, 61, Lima, had his request for a judicial release hearing denied. Clifford was previously found guilty of felonious assault (F2), rape (F1) and sexual battery (F3).

Brett M. Mullins, 26, London, had his motion for judicial release granted. His 30 month sentence for possession of methamphetamine (F3) and endangering children (F3) is suspended. Mullins was then sentenced to four years of community control sanctions with the conditions of: submitting to a drug and alcohol assessment with Westwood and following all recommendations; enter into and complete Paulding County Drug Court; abstain from the consumption of drugs and alcohol; submit to random substance testing; actively seek employment and obtain a valid driver’s license.

Michael K. Loop, 33, Paulding County Jail, was in court for sentencing. He was sentenced to 11 years in prison for one count of voluntary manslaughter (F1) and 11 years in prison for one count of aggravated burglary (F1). Both sentences are to run consecutively.

Jennifer R. Bryant, 27, Fayette, was in court for arraignment on a charge of possession of methamphetamine (F5). She pleaded guilty to the charge and a motion for intervention in lieu of conviction was filed and accepted. A disposition was set for Nov. 25.

Joshua S. Jennings, 38, Rochester, Ind., was arraigned in court on one count of identity fraud (F5) and one count of possession of methamphetamine (F5). A pre-trial was set for Oct. 21 and a jury trial for Nov. 19.

Donald J. Richcreek, 26, Paulding County Jail, was arraigned in court on a charge of murder, an unclassified felony. A pre-trial was set for Nov. 4.

Devin Swain, 22, Anderson, Ind., had his charge for possession of marijuana (F3) dismissed by the State.

Michelle M. Rooks, 33, Cecil, was arraigned on a charge of possession of methamphetamine (F5). A pre-trial was set for Oct. 21 and a jury trial for Nov. 19.

Esiquiel M. Ramirez, 35, Defiance, was arraigned in court on a charge of possession of methamphetamine (F5). A pre-trial was set for Oct. 21 and a jury trial for Nov. 19.

Bryan J. Foltz, 46, Paulding, was arraigned in court on two counts of non-support of dependents (F5). A pre-trial was set for Oct. 31 and a jury trial for Dec. 10.
