Criminal Docket

Colton R. Bidlack, 24, Paulding County Jail, appeared in court on a motion to revoke community control sanctions. Bidlack admitted to the violation and his sanctions were revoked. He was ordered to serve 17 months in prison with credit for 174 days served. The sentence is to run concurrent with charges from another case. Bidlack was previously found guilty of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor (F4).

Lucas A. Hyre, 27, Paulding County Jail, was in court on an initial hearing to revoke community control sanctions. Hyre was found indigent and counsel was appointed. Another hearing has been set for Nov. 8. Hyre previously pleaded guilty to possession of heroin (F5).

Alexander T. Scott, 26, Paulding County Jail, was in court on a hearing for revoking community control sanctions. Scott admitted to the violation and the sanctions were ordered to continue but with the penalty that Scott spend 30 days in jail. Scott previously pleaded guilty to trafficking in drugs (F4).

Brett M. Mullins, 25, Paulding County Jail, was in court on a motion to revoke community control sanctions. He admitted to the violations and the sanctions were revoke. Mullins was sentenced to 30 months in prison. He had previously pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine (F5) and endangering children (F3).

Mark A. McGill, 26, Paulding County Jail, pleaded guilty to trafficking in methamphetamine (F3) and was sentenced to 30 months in prison.

Bryan J. Foltz, 45, Paulding, pleaded guilty to breaking and entering (F5) and was sentenced to four years of community control sanctions with the following guidelines: serve 30 days in jail with credit for one day served; abstain from drug and alcohol consumption; submit to random substance testing; and pay restitution to the victim.

Benjamin T. Wiswell, 27, Paulding, pleaded guilty to attempted possession of drugs (F4). He was sentenced to four years of community control sanctions with the following guidelines: serve 59 days in jail with credit for 59 days served; abstain from drug and alcohol consumption; submit to random substance testing; complete assessment at Westwood Behavioral Health and follow recommendation; obtain and maintain employment; and obtain valid driver’s license.

Erich C. Adkins, 35, Van Wert, pleaded guilty to identity fraud (F5). He was sentenced to 73 days in jail with credit for 73 days served and to pay all costs including incarceration.

Christopher W. Karacson, 38, Harlan, Ind., was arraigned in court on charges of possession of methamphetamine (F5), failure to comply with order or signal of peace officer (F4), improper handling of firearms in a motor vehicle (F4) and having weapons while under disability (F3). Karacson was found indigent and counsel was appointed. Another hearing was set for Nov. 19 and a jury trial was set for Dec. 11.

Michael K. Loop, 32, Paulding County Jail, was arraigned on one count of aggravated murder (an unclassified felony and one count of aggravated burglary (F1). Loop was found indigent and William Kluge was appointed as lead counsel and Robert Grzybowski was appointed as co-counsel. A pre-trial was scheduled for Dec. 13 and bond will remain at $10 million dollars.

Eric S. Garza, 30, Antwerp, was arraigned on one count of non-support of dependents (F5). He was found indigent and counsel was appointed. A pre-trial hearing was set for Dec. 3 and a jury trial for Feb. 5.
