Jeremy L. Akers, 38, Oakwood, was in court on a motion to revoke community control sanctions. The sanctions were ordered to continue with the condition that Akers serve 60 days in jail with credit for 28 days served and then be transferred to the WORTH center. He must then successfully complete the WORTH center program and follow all aftercare recommendations. Akers previously pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property (F5).

Johnathan R. Wells, 24, Hicksville, was in court on a motion to revoke community control sanctions. Another hearing was set for July 20. He is being held without bond. Wells previously pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property (F5).

Craig Smith Jr., 40, Payne, previously pleaded guilty to non-support of dependents and was in court for sentencing. He was sentenced to four years of community control sanctions with the following guidelines: serve 30 days in jail with credit for one day served; obtain and maintain employment; make all child support payments as they come due; pay all child support arrearages; file income taxes; abstain from the use of drugs and alcohol and submit to random substance testing.

Scott Kirkland Jr., 22, Paulding, was in court for a further hearing on a motion to revoke community control sanctions. The sanctions were ordered to continue with the condition that Kirkland serve 60 days in jail with credit for 31 served and shall be transferred to the WORTH center when a spot is open. He must also enter into and successfully complete the WORTH center program. Kirkland previously pleaded guilty to trafficking in methamphetamine (F4).

Alexis Overly, 20, Paulding, previously pleaded guilty to burglary (F4) and her request for intervention in lieu of conviction was accepted. She was placed under the control of the adult parole authority for two years with the following guidelines: abstain from the use of drugs and alcohol; submit to random substance testing; successfully complete all treatment, recovery and aftercare services; complete 20 hours of community service; and pay restitution.
