Criminal Docket

Jeffery S. Holt, Lima, was in court on a hearing for judicial release. The motion was well taken and release was granted. The remainder of his prison sentence for illegal manufacture of drugs (F2) has been suspended. Holt was given four years of community control sanctions with the following guidelines: undergo assessment at Westwood Behavioral Health Center and follow treatment; abstain from the use of drugs and alcohol; submit to random substance testing; enter and complete drug court; actively seek employment; and obtain a valid operator’s license.

Jason C. Elston, 38, Saginaw, Mich., had his motion to revoke community control sanctions withdrawn. Elston previously pleaded guilty to two counts of non-support of dependents (F5).

Dustin A. Dobbelaere, 34, Paulding, was in court on a motion to revoke community control sanctions. The sanctions were ordered to continue, but he was ordered to serve 43 days in local jail with credit for 13 days served and to abide by a 10 p.m. curfew. Dobbelaere previously pleaded guilty to illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs (F3), failure to comply with order or signal of police officer (F3) and possession of methamphetamine (F5).

Treva A. Rheese, 42, Fort Wayne, was arraigned on a charge of theft (F4). She was found indigent and counsel was appointed. Another hearing was scheduled for Jan. 17 and a jury trial for March 5.

Joshua A. Deemer, 37, Paulding, previously pleaded guilty to trafficking in methamphetamine (F4) and possession of morphine (F5). He was sentenced to 12 months in prison.

Dawn Marie Yates, 41, Defiance, was in court on a hearing for intervention in lieu of conviction. The motion was well taken and Yates pleaded guilty to vandalism (F5). Another hearing was set for Jan. 14.

Benjamin T. Wiswell, 27, Paulding, was in court on a motion to revoke community control sanctions. His sanctions were revoked and he was sentenced to 17 months in prison. Wiswell previously pleaded guilty to attempted possession of drugs (F4).

Daniel E. Kelley, 31, Antwerp, pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property (F5) and was sentenced to four years of community control sanctions with the following conditions: serve 85 days in jail with credit for 85 served; abstain from the consumption of drugs and alcohol; submit to random substance testing; and obtain valid operator’s license.

James M. Poulson, 30, Defiance, was arraigned on a charge of pandering sexually orientated matter involving a minor (F4) and gross sexual imposition (F4). He was found indigent and counsel was appointed. A pre-trial conference was set for Jan. 22 and a jury trial for Feb. 12. Poulson was released on a recognizance bond.

Marcella Wright, 29, Hicksville, was arraigned on a charge of possession of methamphetamine (F5). She was found indigent and counsel was appointed. Another hearing was set for Jan. 14. Wright was released on a recognizance bond.

Otha W. Randall, 54, Toledo, was arraigned on a charge of receiving stolen property (F5). She was found indigent and counsel was appointed. A pre-trial hearing was set for Jan. 22 and a jury trial for March. 5.

Gary La Mont Graves Jr, 34, Toledo, was arraigned on a charge of receiving stolen property (F5). He was indigent and counsel was appointed. A pre-trial was scheduled for Jan. 28 and a jury trial for March 5.

Cassandra Randall, 52, Toledo, was arraigned on a charge of receiving stolen property (F5). She was found indigent and counsel was appointed. Another hearing has been scheduled for Jan. 28 and a jury trial for March 5.
