A Paulding FFA member sees a need in the Paulding School district and identifies a solution to the need. Jennifer Stahl, a 2019 Paulding FFA graduate, distributed over 200 pairs of gloves and hats to Paulding Elementary students through her living to serve plan she developed while attending the Washington Leadership Conference in 2018.

Her Warming Hearts and Warming Hands campaign was established to ensure that every elementary student in Paulding Elementary had access to a hat and a pair of gloves to wear during the winter months.

She constructed a collection bin and challenged the jr. high and high school students to make a donation of hats and gloves to her campaign.

Stahl was able to collect over 200 items to distribute to the elementary students. She identified a need in our student district and developed a plan to help students and their families that may not be able to afford to purchase hats and gloves for their students.

At the beginning of December, Stahl distributed those hats and gloves to the elementary staff to distribute to students who don’t have a hat or pair of gloves to wear. The Paulding FFA and school district is very proud of Jen and her accomplishment of her living to serve plan.

The Paulding FFA is excited to send students to the 2020 Washington Leadership Conference this summer. We look forward to more students developing living to serve plans to help our local community.
