Paulding Panther Tyler Ash: 1st round loss to Corey Ginn (West Jefferson) 5-3

Consi round loss to Caleb Fry (Middlefield Cardinal) 6-2

Wayne Trace Raiders Dustin Taylor:  1st round loss to Caleb Ohl (Newark Catholic) 16-1

Consi round loss to Carson Mengerink (Upper Sandusky) 0:59

Sawyer Temple: 1st round loss to Jared Mattin (Delta) 8-0

Consi round loss to Zach Gibson (Bloom-Carroll) 12-4

George Clemens: 1st round WIN over Theodore Zoumpolidis (Martins Ferry)

The only Paulding county wrestler left in tournament is George Clemens of Wayne Trace. George will wrestle his quarterfinal match around 10 am on Friday morning against Sebestian Vidika of Sullivan Black River.

Thursday wrestling update:
Championship Quarterfinals –
106: Sebastian Vidika, Sullivan Black River pin George Clemens, Haviland Wayne Trace 2:37.

Clemens will go against Shane Johnston from Massilon Tuslaw in the consolation bracket. George's consi match will be at about 12:15pm today. If George wins his next four matches he could finish in third place at state. He definitely could still reach the podium.

Consolation Round Two – 106: Shane Johnston, Massillon Tuslaw dec. George Clemens, Haviland Wayne Trace 4-2
All of the county's four wrestlers are now out of the state competition.
