A conference call was held at 10am Monday between the commissioners and a business interested in putting in a bid for the old jail.

The company is All Trades Restorations, which has been doing building restoration work in Paulding, including on the courthouse and library.

The commissioners plan to begin advertising for "request for proposals" as soon as this week. The RFP will be published two weeks, then proposals will be opened the week following.

If All Trade wins the bid, they want to restore the jail to its original look and make it their business headquarters.
