Boys’ basketball -

The Antwerp boys posted a 45-37 Green Meadows Conference win over Hicksville 45-37 on Thursday night. Derek Smalley led the Archers with 16 points including three 3-pointers in the second quarter. Andy Coleman totaled 11 points for the winners who will host Stryker on Saturday night at the Range.

 

There wasn't a whole lot of defense played in the Green Meadows Conference boys basketball opener at Fairview Thursday night. The two teams combined to connect on 23 three-point field goals on the night as Wayne Trace outscored the host Apaches 83-67 to move to 6-1 on the season.
