Many rumors about a lockdown or stay put drill this afternoon at PEVS. The following message was sent to parents:

Complete Message:
The safety of our students and staff is a priority. Today we took precautionary measures because of some unusual information brought to our attention. This situation did NOT involve weapons or any direct threats to our school. Local and county law enforcement were called and handled the situation. Evening activities are still scheduled for the High School events.
