The Panther boys rebounded from two losses the previous week to climb into the win column this past week with wins over Montpelier and Allen East.

While there were some concerns, Paulding coach Shawn Brewer was happy with his team's 66-57 win over Allen East on Friday in the first conference game. Kyle Kauser once again led the squad in scoring with 23 points while Lance Foor added 11 points to the Panther cause.

In all, eight Panthers broke into the scoring column in a well-balanced effort.

Paulding dropped behind, 16-12, at the end of the first quarter, but rebounded 15-11, in the second quarter to tie the game at 27-27 at the halfway mark. The two teams played to a 20-20 standoff in the third stanza before the Panthers took command, 19-10, in the final eight minutes to pull away for the win.
