WT splits in Tip Off

VAN WERT – After rolling past Lincolnview in the season opener, Wayne Trace had the table turned on Saturday as Crestview ran away from the Raiders for a 60-40 victory in the championship game of the Van Wert County Hospital Tip Off Classic at Van Wert High School.

The Knights led at the end of every quarter. Crestview posted a 13-11 advantage after eight minutes of action and widened the margin to 29-18 at the intermission. The Knights held a 43-30 lead entering the final stanza.
