Antwerp depot renovation nears completion

ANTWERP – If you drive on Old US 24 west of Antwerp, you will notice the daily changes taking place with what the locals call The Depot. Changes are not new to this structure over its last 130 years of existence. In fact, the depot has been moved and at one point was close to being demolished. Built in 1880, the train depot served Paulding County and Antwerp, its largest county community at the time, having a thriving logging industry.
