Raiders miss post-season tourney bid

SHERWOOD – One of the strongest football teams in western Ohio will be denied access to a state tournament bid due to the complicated method state officials employ in selection of teams to participate in the post-season tournament.

Wayne Trace lacked three points from making the elite dance. The Raiders finished 11th in Division V tournament rankings. Only the teams in the top eight are allowed to go in post-season play.
