PAULDING – Last week, a civil suit against Manor House Assisted Living Ltd. and several other entities was continued until November after a flurry of filings by attorneys.

After a third defendant, TDM3 Ltd., filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection on Sept. 19, a trial scheduled to begin Sept. 21 was continued until Nov. 9 and a schedule was set by Paulding County Common Pleas Judge Tiffany Beckman.

Antwerp Holdings LLC of Antwerp/Angola filed suit last September against TDM3 Ltd. of Defiance/Fort Wayne, and Louis and Mary Lengacher, both of Harlan, Ind., who operate Manor House Assisted Living and The Essen House restaurant in Antwerp. It alleges the defendants have failed to comply with contractual agreements, including payments.
