Progress apologizes for court report errors
Thursday, April 13, 2017 10:56 AM
In the April 12 Progress, our information on concluded civil cases in Paulding County Common Pleas Court contained several errors. Eight divorce and dissolution cases were erroneously listed as being concluded; in many cases, the divorces were granted and marriages dissolved several years ago.
The mistakes were made by a staff member new to the job of collecting court news. The Progress staff sincerely apologizes to each person who was incorrectly included in the court results.
We try our best to always be 100% accurate in reporting, especially in court cases and reports of police and sheriff activities. It is an important responsibility we take extremely seriously. We admit our mistake and also apologize to our readers in this matter.
